Recent changes to the federal tax credit makes solar energy systems more affordable for homeowners!
The 30% federal tax credit on solar energy systems was renewed for 8 years, effective 1/1/09. In addition, the $2,000 cap for residential systems was removed, and the tax credit can now be applied to customers filing under the alternative minimum tax.
