This installation presented some challenges of maintaining the integrity of the old system, planning the move, a design of a new shed to accommodate the move, integrating a new inverter into the mix, converting the older roof mounted adjustable racking into a fixed pitch for the newer Sanyo panels which were of a different size and shape. In the end the home owner more than doubled his array, from 1.35kW to a total of 3.75kW.

• CO2 reduction = 8,215 lbs or just over 4 tons of C02 reduction per year.
