This system nearly offsets 100% of their use, they also have a geothermal system for heating and cooling.

This solar electric system utilizes 28 Evergreen Solar 210 watt modules, made with their propritary string ribbon solar cells. The pole mounts can be manualy adjusted between the equinoxes to maximize the solar gain throughout the year. The system's inverter is located in a detached garage just south and west of the array and tied into the house's main panel. Nearly 100% of the homes energy and geothermal system are covered by this solar power system.

• CO2 reduction = 16,275 lbs or just over 8 tons of C02 reduction per year.
