The sun is an immensely powerful renewable energy source that can be harnessed to provide pollution free, noise free energy for your home or office. Photovoltaic (PV) technology converts the sun's power into electricity. Since most of our electricity is provided by coal-burning utility plants, installing a solar-electric (PV) system is a great way to reduce harmful carbon emissions and help care for our environment. This electricty can be used to power your home, cabin, business, with the excess electricty generated sold back to the Utility through a process called Net Metering.

Minnesota receives ample sunlight to take advantage of solar energy!

Panels are mounted on special racks, and can be mounted on the ground, on a pole in your yard, or directly on your south-facing roof. Panels should be mounted where the area is shade-free between the hours of 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. A site survey will determine more specifics about using the sun to power your home or office.
